Troubleshooting WiFi

When you cannot see the WiFi in the room please check the following things otherwise please Contact Us

Step 1 - Check The WiFi

In each of the Rooms there is a UniFi Access Point that looks like this below

A lot of the time the WiFi Access Points are siting beside the modem usually in the Lounge Room, Dinning Room or in the Bedrooms. Making sure that these are Powered Up. You can check via the Top of the WiFi AP making sure that the colour of the LED in the middle is Blue (as shown in the Picture) if it isn't then it has been unplugged. Trace the Ethernet Cable (Usually Blue sometimes Grey or White) back to the Power Brick (Black) and make sure it is turned on (Indicated by a Blue LED).

Step 2 - Check The Modem

Some rooms have Freedom Internet and the modem looks like this below

Making sure that the Power, WAN, Internet and LAN 1 (possibly 2,3 or 4) are lit up if not the Modem has been unplugged this needs to be Plugged Back In (A black power lead from the back of the modem)

Some rooms have Belong Modems and the modem looks like this below

Making sure that the Power, Sync, Internet and LAN 1 (possibly 2,3 or 4) are lit up if not the Modem has been unplugged this needs to be Plugged Back In (A black power lead from the back of the modem)

If the modem is Powered On and all the indications above try connecting to the WiFi again and try to connect

Step 3

If you are able to see the WiFi and connect however are unable to get to the Guest Portal please check the following as someone previously has plugged in a cable incorrectly.

On the back of the Freedom Internet and Belong Modems make sure that the Ethernet Cable (Usually Blue sometimes Grey or White) is connected to one of the Yellow Ports (Which is LAN 1,2,3,4)

If you are still unable to connect the Internet and tried the above steps please Contact Us or use the Live Chat
